Established in 1951, Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës (Agricultural University of Tirana) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Tirana (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Agjencia e Sigurimit të Cilësisë në Arsimin e Lartë (Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education), Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës (UBT) is a medium-sized coeducational Albanian higher education institution.
