Founded in 1995, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (National Defence University of Malaysia) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia), Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) is a coeducational Malaysian higher education institution. Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UPNM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
