Established in 1904, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (University of Technology Malaysia) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Johor Bahru (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Johor. This institution also has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a very large coeducational Malaysian higher education institution.
