Founded in 1992, University of Applied Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Tehran (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, University of Applied Science and Technology (UAST) is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. University of Applied Science and Technology (UAST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UAST also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
