Founded in 1980, University of Art is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Tehran (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, University of Art (UA) is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. University of Art (UA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
