Established in 1991, University of Babylon is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Hillah (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Babylon. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Al Qasim, Al Mussayeb. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq, University of Babylon is a small coeducational Iraqi higher education institution.
