Founded in 2010, University of Bagamoyo is a private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Dar es Salaam (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, University of Bagamoyo (UoB) is a coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. University of Bagamoyo (UoB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UoB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
