Established in 1986, University of Bahrain is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Sakhir (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Southern Governorate. This institution also has a branch campus in Isa Town. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Bahrain, University of Bahrain (UoB) is a large coeducational Bahraini higher education institution. University of Bahrain (UoB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. UoB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
