Established in 1970, University of Balochistan is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Quetta (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Balochistan. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Turbat, Lorali. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Balochistan (UoB) is a large coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. University of Balochistan (UoB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. UoB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
