Founded in 2017, University of Baltistan, Skardu is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Skardu (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Gilgit-Baltistan. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Baltistan, Skardu (UOBS) is a coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. University of Baltistan, Skardu (UOBS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
