Founded in 1946, University of Bohol is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Tagbilaran City (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Central Visayas. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, University of Bohol (UB) is a medium-sized coeducational Philippine higher education institution. University of Bohol (UB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
