Founded in 1989, University of Cyprus is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Nicosia (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus, University of Cyprus (UCY) is a medium-sized coeducational Cypriot higher education institution. University of Cyprus (UCY) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 33 years old Cypriot higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
