Founded in 1918, University of Eastern Philippines is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of Catarman (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Eastern Visayas. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Catubig, Laoang. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) is a coeducational Philippine higher education institution. University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UEP also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
