Founded in 1970, University of Ioannina is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Ioannina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Epirus. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs of Greece, University of Ioannina (UOI) is a large coeducational Greek higher education institution. University of Ioannina (UOI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 52 years old Greek higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
