Founded in 1989, University of Jiroft is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Jiroft (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kerman. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, University of Jiroft is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. University of Jiroft offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. University of Jiroft also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
