Founded in 1975, University of Juba is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Juba (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Central Equatoria. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of South Sudan, University of Juba (JU) is a large coeducational South Sudanese higher education institution. University of Juba (JU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
