Established in 1950, University of Karachi is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Karachi (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Sindh. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Karachi (UoK) is a large coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. University of Karachi (UoK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UoK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
