Founded in 2001, University of Malakand is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Chakdara (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Malakand (UoM) is a small coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. University of Malakand (UoM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UoM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
