Founded in 2000, University of Management and Economics is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Battambang (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Pursat, Kampot, Preah Sihanouk, Kampong Cham, Banteay Meanchey, Koh Kong, Kratie. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, University of Management and Economics (UME) is a coeducational Cambodian higher education institution. University of Management and Economics (UME) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
