Founded in 1954, University of Medicine, Mandalay is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Mandalay (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar, University of Medicine, Mandalay is a small coeducational Burmese higher education institution. University of Medicine, Mandalay offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. University of Medicine, Mandalay also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
