Founded in 1918, University of Seoul is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Seoul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, University of Seoul (UOS) is a large coeducational South Korean higher education institution. University of Seoul (UOS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 104 years old South Korean higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
