Founded in 1967, University of Southern Queensland is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the small city of Toowoomba (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Queensland. Officially recognized by the Department of Education and Training of Australia, University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a large coeducational Australian higher education institution.
