Established in 2014, University of Telafer is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Tal Afar (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Nineveh. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq, University of Telafer (UT) is a very small coeducational Iraqi higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. University of Telafer (UT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
