Established in 1978, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Beijing (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Education Department of the Jiangsu Province, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master degrees in several areas of study. UCAS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
