Established in 1990, University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Omdurman (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Khartoum. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Sudan, University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences is a coeducational Sudanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
