Founded in 1992, Université Alassane Ouattara (Alassane Ouattara University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Bouaké (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Vallee du Bandama. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique de Côte d'Ivoire (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Ivory Coast), Université Alassane Ouattara (UAO) is a medium-sized coeducational Ivorian higher education institution. Université Alassane Ouattara (UAO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
