Established in 1974, Université Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Touba (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Diourbel. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, Senegal (Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Senegal), Université Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (UCAB) is a coeducational Senegalese higher education institution. Université Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (UCAB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
