Established in 2006, Université de Djibouti (University of Djibouti) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Djibouti City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministre de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche, Djibouti (Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Djibouti), Université de Djibouti (UD) is a coeducational Djiboutian higher education institution. Université de Djibouti (UD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UD also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
