Established in 2004, Université de Gafsa (Gafsa University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Gafsa (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Tunisie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia), Université de Gafsa (UG) is a large coeducational Tunisian higher education institution. Université de Gafsa (UG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UG also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
