Established in 1992, Université de Kikwit (University of Kikwit) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Kikwit (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Kwilu. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire, République Démocratique du Congo (Ministry of Higher and University Education of the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Université de Kikwit (UNIKIK) is a coeducational Congolese higher education institution. Université de Kikwit (UNIKIK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UNIKIK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
