Founded in 1962, Université de Yaoundé II (University of Yaounde II) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Soa (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Centre Region. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Cameroun (Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon), Université de Yaoundé II (UYII) is a medium-sized coeducational Cameroonian higher education institution. Université de Yaoundé II (UYII) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UYII also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
