Founded in 1984, Université des Sciences Islamiques Emir Abdelkader (Emir Abdelkader University of Islamic Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Constantine (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Algérie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Algeria), Université des Sciences Islamiques Emir Abdelkader (USIEA) is a coeducational Algerian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Université des Sciences Islamiques Emir Abdelkader (USIEA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. USIEA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
