Founded in 1975, Université Hassan II de Casablanca (Hassan II University of Casablanca) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Casablanca (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Casablanca-Settat. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Formation des Cadres (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training of Morocco), Université Hassan II de Casablanca (UH2C) is a very large coeducational Moroccan higher education institution. Université Hassan II de Casablanca (UH2C) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 47 years old Moroccan higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UH2C also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
