Established in 1980, Université Ibn Khaldoun de Tiaret (University of Tiaret) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Tiaret (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Algérie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Algeria), Université Ibn Khaldoun de Tiaret (UIK) is a coeducational Algerian higher education institution. Université Ibn Khaldoun de Tiaret (UIK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UIK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
