Established in 1958, Université Marien Ngouabi (Marien Ngouabi University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Brazzaville (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'enseignement supérieur, République du Congo (Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of the Congo), Université Marien Ngouabi (UMNG) is a medium-sized coeducational Congolese higher education institution. Université Marien Ngouabi (UMNG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 64 years old Congolese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
