Founded in 2004, Université Méditerranéenne (Mediterranean University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Tunis (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Tunisie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia), Université Méditerranéenne (UM) is a coeducational Tunisian higher education institution. Université Méditerranéenne (UM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master degrees in several areas of study. UM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
