Founded in 2006, Université Paris-Sorbonne Abou Dhabi (Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Abu Dhabi (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially licensed by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Université Paris-Sorbonne Abou Dhabi (UPSAD) is a very small coeducational Emirati higher education institution. Université Paris-Sorbonne Abou Dhabi (UPSAD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UPSAD also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
