Established in 2010, Université Privée de Ouagadougou (Private University of Ouagadougou) is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Ouagadougou (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kadiogo. Officially recognized by the Ministère de lEnseignement supérieur, de la Recherche scientifique et de lInnovation, Burkina Faso (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso), Université Privée de Ouagadougou (UPO) is a coeducational Burkinabe higher education institution. Université Privée de Ouagadougou (UPO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UPO also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
