Established in 1992, Univerzitet u Istocnom Sarajevu (University of East Sarajevo) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium town of Lukavica (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Republika Srpska. Officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvjete i kulture Republike Srpske (Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Serbia), Univerzitet u Istocnom Sarajevu (UNSSA) is a large coeducational Bosnian and Herzegovinian higher education institution. Univerzitet u Istocnom Sarajevu (UNSSA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UNSSA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
