Founded in 1957, Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (University of Arts in Belgrade) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Belgrade (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia), Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (UAB) is a very small coeducational Serbian higher education institution. Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (UAB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 65 years old Serbian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UAB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
