Founded in 1991, Urartu University of Practical Psychology and Sociology is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Urartu University of Practical Psychology and Sociology is a very small coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Urartu University of Practical Psychology and Sociology offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 31 years old Armenian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Armenian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
