Founded in 2007, Urmia University of Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Urmia (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), West Azerbaijan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Urmia University of Technology (UUT) is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Urmia University of Technology (UUT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. UUT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
