Founded in 1918, V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Kyiv (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kiev Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University (TNU) is a small coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University (TNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 104 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades.
