Founded in 1994, Velayat University is a higher-education institution located in the small city of Iranshahr (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Sistan and Baluchestan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Velayat University is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Velayat University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
