Established in 2012, Wachamo University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Hosaena (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), SNNPR. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia, Wachamo University (WCU) is a coeducational Ethiopian higher education institution. Wachamo University (WCU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. WCU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
