Founded in 1999, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium town of Kuliyapitiya (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), North Western Province. Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WYB) is a very small coeducational Sri Lankan higher education institution. Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WYB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. WYB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
