Founded in 1958, Wenzhou Medical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Wenzhou (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Zhejiang. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Zhejiang Province, Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
