Established in 1997, West Kordofan University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Al-Fulah (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), West Kordofan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Sudan, West Kordofan University (WKU) is a coeducational Sudanese higher education institution. West Kordofan University (WKU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. WKU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
