Founded in 1997, Western University is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Kanchanaburi (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Western University (WTU) is a coeducational Thai higher education institution. Western University (WTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. WTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
