Established in 1979, Woosuk University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Wanju-gun (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Jeolla. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Woosuk University is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Woosuk University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Woosuk University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
